It turns out that lovers of night meals significantly increase the risk of damage to the skin, namely, increases the tendency of the skin to develop cancer processes and active aging.

The studies that provided these data were conducted by employees of the Southwestern Medical Center at University of Texas. According to their results, scientists concluded that in people who regularly consume food at night, the skin is subsequently more exposed ultraviolet lightand prone to aging.

Experts carried out work using laboratory mice. Over a period of time, rodents received food only during the day. And since mice eat mainly at night, for them such feeding was equivalent to feeding people at night. In the course of the work, it turned out that when the biorhythms failed, the mice showed a tendency to damage the skin if it was exposed to ultraviolet rays. At the same time, in animals that ate in accordance with their normal biorhythms, such negative changes in the body were not observed.

Therefore, experts again called on everyone to properly build a diet and quit the bad habit of chewing something tasty at night.

As for snacks before bedtime, not all nutritionists are categorical here. It is believed that if you have a snack with the “right” product before bed, it will only contribute to active weight loss. As such snacks, it is recommended to use berries that are rich in vitamins and fiber. They will help burn calories faster and saturate well.
