Non-narcotic analgesic. The combined drug Citrapak has a psychostimulating, antipyretic and analgesic effect.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

In the drug, the active ingredients are ascorbic acid, paracetamol, caffeine, acetylsalicylic acid.

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is actively involved in the regulation of redox reactions, in tissue regeneration, carbohydrate metabolism, in the process of synthesizing steroid hormones and blood coagulation. Vitamin C reduces the body's need for pantothenic acid, folic acid, vitamins A, E, B1, B2, reduces the permeability of the vascular wall, increases the body's resistance to microorganisms. In conditions that are accompanied by fever, the medication can satisfy the increased needs of the body in ascorbic acid.

Acetylsalicylic acid inhibits the process of platelet aggregation, has analgesic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory effects, disrupts the synthesis of prostaglandins, inhibits the activity of cyclooxygenase 1 and 2, is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory active component.

Caffeine allows you to increase the concentration of analgesics in the central nervous system, and also improves performance (mental and physical), reduces the severity of feelings of fatigue and drowsiness, reduces aggregation platelet blood cells, widens the lumen of blood vessels in the kidneys, heart, skeletal muscles, brain, stimulates the vasomotor center, increases the reflex excitability of the spinal cord, the activity of the respiratory center.

Paracetamol has a mild anti-inflammatory effect, has antipyretic and analgesic effects (inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins, affects the center of thermoregulation).

Citrapack, indications for use

Citrapac tablets are prescribed for relief pain syndromediverse origin, moderate and mild intensity.

The drug is not prescribed for hemophilia, with simultaneous therapy with non-steroidal medicines, portal hypertensionhemorrhagic diathesis, gastrointestinal bleeding, with hypoprothrombinemiapregnancy, before surgical interventions, breastfeeding, vitamin K deficiency, kidney pathology, children under 15 years of age due to the high risk of Reye syndrome.

For elderly people, with gout, severe pathology of the liver system, Citrapac tablets are prescribed with caution.

Instructions for use Citrapac does not recommend prescribing a drug with individual hypersensitivity to caffeine, acetylsalicylic and ascorbic acids, to paracetamol.

Side effects

Citrapac tablets are prescribed 2-3 times a day. The maximum allowable daily dosage is 4 tablets, single - 2 tablets.

Children from 6 years old are prescribed half a tablet 2-3 times a day. The medication can be prescribed no more than 5 days with anesthetic purpose, and no more than 3 days - antipyretic.

Tablets must be washed down with a sufficient amount of milk or water (at least 100 ml).

If necessary, it is possible to increase the duration of the course of treatment and the dose of the medication after consulting the attending doctor.


An overdose of acetylsalicylic acid is characterized first by dizziness, nausea, vomiting, gastralgia, and then bleeding, inhibition of consciousness, drowsiness, convulsions, bronchospasm, shortness of breath, anuria. Possible respiratory paralysis.

It is necessary to control the metabolism with sodium bicarbonate and citrate.


Citrapack is able to enhance the effects of steroid hormones, indirect anticoagulants, heparin, hypoglycemic drugs, reserpine.

The drug reduces the effectiveness of antigout and antihypertensive drugs, furosemide, spironalokton and other medicines that contribute to the elimination uric acid.

Citrapac is not recommended with rifampicin, zidovudine, ethanol, antiepileptic drugs, barbiturates due to increased severity of hepatotoxic effects.
